The Interventional Psychiatry Program Manager coordinates and supervises all activities associated with Interventional Psychiatry - TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Esketamine - within BHMA Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics. The Manager coordinates activities and collaborates with the Outpatient Operations Manager and/or Practice Manager to ensure efficient, cost-effective business operations on a day-to-day basis by performing a number of tasks to facilitate exceptional customer service.
The Manager will be expected to collaborate with the Medical Director, providers, and practice manager to coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Interventional Psychiatry programs. The Manager will successfully monitor patients from the referral process through prior authorization, REMS registration (for Esketamine), scheduling, and completion with the patient care team. The Manager will regularly monitor accessibility and efficiency of scheduling, registration, check-in/check-out, billing, referral, and treatment process and will work with Practice Manager to adjust processes accordingly.
The Manager will assist Practice Manger and/or Operations Manager with the determination and justification needs for equipment and supply purchases. The Manager will maintain a working knowledge of accepted payer plans and will complete prior authorizations as point of contact for payers – previous experience in utilization review is strongly preferred. The Manager will utilize effective communication systems to ensure the flow of patient services and continuity of care.
The Manager will ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and ensure safe operation of the Interventional Psychiatry program. The Manager will be appropriately trained to cover for direct patient care staff, as needed, and will promptly address patient complaints and other patient-related issues providing on-site and immediate service recovery. The Manager may also assist with case management responsibilities for adult behavioral health outpatient clinics, when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, or other related field required. 2 years of clinical experience in the field of psychiatry, mental health, or case management preferred. Work
