Key Position Details: Program Manager, Pharmacy Research The Program Manager will partner with Allina Health Research, pharmacy leaders, clinical teams, and site-based stakeholders to standardize workflows and investigational drug practices across all participating sites.

Key responsibilities of the role will include: Supporting study start-up and implementation by improving pharmacy readiness for new clinical trials and helping streamline coordination between research, pharmacy, and operational teams. Standardizing research pharmacy practices across Allina to reduce variation, minimize duplicative work, and create more consistent processes for medication management, accountability, storage, dispensing, and documentation.

Strengthening compliance and risk reduction through focused oversight of investigational drug processes and support for regulatory expectations related to medication-intensive studies. Improving onboarding and training for pharmacy team members who support research, helping accelerate readiness and ensure safer, more reliable study execution. Preserving team capacity and improving workflow efficiency by reducing the time pharmacy, research, and clinical teams spend resolving start-up, medication management, and compliance issues.

Supporting scalable program growth as Allina continues to expand its clinical research portfolio, including therapeutic studies that require greater pharmacy coordination and operational infrastructure Additional Job Details 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 8-hour day shifts No weekends Will oversee inpatient and outpatient research

Leads, facilitates and coordinates strategic, operational and clinical processes to support the ongoing management and growth of pharmacy services. Supports concept design, strategic planning and business development for new programs and clinical services. Supports general service line development including coordination of initiatives, management of existing programs and services.

Principle Responsibilities Develops current and new pharmacy programs and services. Develops and executes strategic planning and business development for programs and services. Provides oversight for the implementation of new and existing programs and services.

Coordinates pharmacy activities across the system. Partners with leadership to plan, implement and manage operational and clinical initiatives and tactical plans, tracking operations performance against key performance indicators. Completes dashboards and reporting templates to highlight performance including variances.

Develops business plans for new programs, services and markets or to enhance existing programs in order to grow the services. Conducts best practice research, industry trends and market analysis to support business plan development. Summarizes analyses, conclusions and recommendations and supporting presentation documents.

Manages relationships with leaders, care teams, and external partners to gain confidence and engagement in strategic and operational initiatives. Participates in decision making activities with executive management, internal and external stakeholders. Plans and implements programs and services.

Assures local and system-wide implementation of established guidelines, policies and procedures in partnership with local land other departmental leaders. Works with staff and care teams to develop and implement objectives for the provision of safe and effective patient care. Evaluates the effectiveness of policies and procedures and make recommendations for change.

Identifies and recommends opportunities to impact performance trends favorably. Facilitates education to the staff, patients, families and public as needed. Manages projects and performance improvement initiatives.

Provides performance improvement methodology to design solutions. Performs data collection and analysis. Completes process flow analysis with input from key stakeholders.

Identifies performance improvement opportunities and assist in design solutions. Develops key performance indicators and measures. Formulates and presents deliverables to executive management and internal and external stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctoral/Ph. D. level advanced degree in Pharmacy 2 to 5 years of pharmacist experience 2 to 5 years of health system pharmacy leadership experience for hospital and retail/outpatient Licenses/Certifications Licensed Pharmacist - MN Board of Pharmacy required upon hire Residency and/or Fellowship preferred Pharmacotherapy Certification or other specialty area preferred upon hire Physical Demands Light Work: Lifting weight up to 20 lbs. occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently

$68.73 to $95.09 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring
