You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current LPN (MN and WI license required) OR
✓Graduate of an accredited EMT program plus current EMT license (national and Minnesota)
Certifications
✓Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with or without certification (AAMA or AMT) OR
✓PLUS current CPR certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Qualifications
One year medial assistant or LPN experience in a clinic. preferred
Experience with Epic electronic medical record software. preferred
All candidates should have excellent verbal and written skills preferred
excellent customer services skills preferred
tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions with patients, families, and care team members preferred
An ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions preferred
Understanding of patient education needs, able to effectively share information with patient, family members and care team members as needed preferred
Ability to learn, retain information regarding patient care procedures preferred
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks preferred
Ability to remain calm in stressful situation preferred
Experience with Epic preferred.

About the role
The provider assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
