You’ll need
Licensure
✓Buffalo Psychiatric Center (BPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrists for their outpatient North Tonawanda Clinic, located in Niagara County.
✓Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and have certification in psychiatry approved by the American
✓Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
✓Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
✓Loss of license or limited permit to practice medicine in New York State or board certification, if required, may result in removal from your position.
Qualifications
✓Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
