✓Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrists for their inpatient team located in Syracuse, NY.
✓Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and have certification in psychiatry approved by the American
✓Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
✓Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
✓Loss of license or limited permit to practice medicine in New York State or board certification, if required, may result in removal from your position.

- Duties Description Hutchings Psychiatric Center (HPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrists for their inpatient team located in Syracuse, NY. As a Psychiatrist at HPC, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, and recovery- focused treatments to individuals with mental health symptoms 18 years of age or older; including:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Creating treatment plans including medication management
- Obtaining and reviewing appropriate laboratory tests and consulting with members of treatment team as needed
