✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrists for their Transition to Home (THU) team.
✓Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
✓Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
✓Loss of license or limited permit to practice medicine in New York State or board certification, if required, may result in removal from your position.
Qualifications
✓Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have:
✓Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
