Psychiatrist Opportunity at Mercy Medical Center - Aurora, IL Prime Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Behavioral Health team at Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. Responsibilities Practice Setting : Primarily inpatient focus with opportunities in our dedicated 95-bed acute mental health unit within a 292-bed acute care hospital. Outpatient services may also be available based on interest.
Scope: Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to adults, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (nurses, therapists, social workers, and advanced practice providers).
Flexible schedule with a mix of inpatient rounding and consultations, 36 patient-facing hours a week. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $350,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
