About the role

DUTIES : Direct and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders; analyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorder; team with physicians, psychologists, social workers, or other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress; design individual plans, using variety of treatments; gather patient information and records, including social and medical history; examine lab or diagnostic tests on patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder; review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists and medical professionals.
