✓Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
✓Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
Qualifications
✓Strong psychiatric diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
✓Knowledge of inpatient psychiatric treatment standards and regulations.
✓Ability to function effectively as a primary/substantive medical provider.
✓Strong documentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.
✓Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary treatment environment.
✓Strong written and verbal communication skills.
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
✓Leadership, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment.
✓Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
✓Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
✓TB clearance.
✓Employment is contingent upon successfully obtaining all required background and health clearances.
Experience working in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings. preferred
Familiarity with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health documentation and audit standards. preferred
Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners in inpatient psychiatry. preferred
Inpatient psychiatric hospital experience preferred.
Experience with acute psychiatric stabilization and crisis management. preferred
Experience with interdisciplinary treatment teams and regulatory compliance. preferred
