Licensure
✓To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees and the individuals we serve, specific positions within DBHDD may require evaluations, vaccinations, professional licensure, and certifications.
✓Current licenses enabling practice within the State of Georgia are essential.
✓Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice psychology AND One year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent.
✓Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university, current Georgia license to practice psychology, and one (1) year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent.--Note: License may be temporary
Qualifications
✓As per state law, a national and state background check is required for this type of employment.
Competency in providing services to diverse clients preferred
Experience working with psychiatric inpatients and individuals with Serious Mental Illness preferred
Excellent writing and organizational skills preferred
Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary teams preferred
Proficiency in psychological assessment preferred
