✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Valid license and current registration to practice as a Psychologist issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
✓and within six (6) months of appointment to this Level, must obtain valid license and current registration to practice as a Psychologist issued by the NYSED and provide proof that all of the following documentation has been submitted to the NYSED:
✓If already licensed in another State, Certification of Out-of-State Licensure and Exam Grades (Form 3) and Certification of Licensed Experience (Form 4F) should be substituted for Form 4 above.
✓Employees must maintain a valid Psychologist license for the duration of employment by completing thirtysix (36) hours of Continuing Education (CE) from a New York State Department of Education-approved provider every three (3) years after the initial certification.
Certifications
✓Reports of Professional Experience/Certifications of Supervised Experience (Form 4).
Education
✓Note: Post-doctoral experience in NYS must have been obtained under a NYS Limited Permit.
Qualifications
✓Valid limited permit to practice as a Psychologist issued by the NYSED
✓Proof of passing licensing examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB).
✓Application for Licensure (Form 1).
