Performs as a clinician providing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy for child, adolescent, adult, and/or Substance Abuse patients and maintains competency and licensure as delineated through education, experience and tests. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Provides individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy/psychoeducation to patients Provides crisis intervention as needed Evaluate and treat individuals with substance use disorders Prepares assessment and ongoing evaluation for further treatment Maintains proper contacts with agency/support systems of patients Completes all required documentation fully and in a timely manner Performs supervision when needed or requested Engages in peer review activities to determine compliance with policies and regulatory requirements Participates in service line business/planning meetings Participates in service line marketing programs Other duties as assigned
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job: Education and Formal Training : Master’s degree in Social Work or related degree required PhD Psychology preferred Fully licensed in area of education required Licensure as MSW/LCSW or LP required LCAS or LCAS-A preferred Substance Abuse clinical supervision required Work
Extensive previous practice in outpatient and/or inpatient mental health facility preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required : Skills in providing individual, family and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, adults and Substance Abuse patients Working knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Internet browsing and search retrieval Physical
