Education
✓Graduate of a recognized non-online RN program required.
Qualifications
✓Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS
✓Within 30 Days of Employment
✓NIH Stroke Scale
✓Within 90 Days of Employment
✓Pediatric Advance Life Support
✓Mental Demands: Ability to perform as a team member, cooperates with others, follow directions precisely, demonstrate initiative, and function under stress.
Minimum of two years as a staff RN in an acute setting preferred, with six months being at Forrest General Hospital preferred.
About the role
The Patient Care Coordinator is accountable and responsible for managing the clinical care and course of treatment for a number of patients. Coordination of care is accomplished through collaboration with physicians, associate staff, and other health care providers to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved within the projected course of treatment using the nursing process.
