Follows all hospital rules and regulations 6.1 Understands Hospital SOP for restraint application, commitment against will situations. 7. Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards. 7.1 All required safety education programs have been attended. 8. Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens 8.1 Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, procedures and correct use of protective barrier equipment. 9.
Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment. 9.1 Interacts with all of the above in a considerate, helpful and courteous manner as observed by Manager and peers. 10. Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department?s/unit?s ability to meet its goals and objectives. 10.1 Conducts staff meetings.
Qualifications EDUCATION High School Graduate or GED required. High School Graduate or GED required. EXPERIENCE Previous law enforcement, military, dispatching, or security experience preferred LICENSURE CPI, MOAB, Defensive Resources (Baton, Handcuffing, and OC Foam), and Restraint Certification must be obtained within 6 months.
Valid Driver's license is required. SPECIAL SKILLS Familiarity with Microsoft office products. Must be competent with computer skills, multitasking, and dispatching.
