✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep
✓Must be admissible to sit for either the Canadian or American Board or be certified by the Canadian Board and are members of either the Royal College of Physicians or Royal College of Surgeons, American board certification or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board certification.
✓Board certification in area of specialty must be obtained within five years of employment.
✓Be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice to which they are assigned.
Education
✓Doctorate within specified field of medical practice from respective accredited school.
✓Doctor of Optometry , Chiropractic Medicine and Podiatry must have graduated from respective accredited schools.

✓Pulmonary Critical Care Sleep Physician at Altru Hospital
✓Collaborative Team Environment: Join a well-established group of experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians dedicated to excellence in patient care.
✓Advanced Practice Provider Support: Benefit from skilled APPs assisting in both outpatient clinic and inpatient ICU settings, enhancing efficiency and continuity of care.
✓Flexible Block Scheduling: Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with a scheduling model designed to support work-life harmony.
✓Integrated ICU Model: Work in a dynamic, open ICU alongside hospitalists, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to critical care.
✓Licensed MD/DO in ND and MN
✓Must be granted medical staff appointments at Altru and associated facilities as are necessary to the commission of duties prior to commencement of employment.
✓Must be insurable under the Health System’s professional liability carrier prior to commencement of employment.
✓This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
