The Pulmonary Function coordinator is a respiratory therapist with BLS and ACLS certifications that oversees the daily operations of the pulmonary function lab. They coordinate testing schedules and is responsible for performing lung capacity, diffusion capacity, blood and oxygen tests to gather data and diagnose respiratory conditions for use by the Physician in diagnosing and the treatment of Pulmonary disorders. They provide patient education on procedures, ensure comfort during testing, and inform patient care plans.

The Pulmonary Function coordinator is also responsible for the organization and maintenance of the pulmonary lab and assists in education of the procedures done with other staff members and in the maintenance of an organized and efficient running of the bronchoscopy suite. The role is vital in supporting the early detection and management of chronic lung disease. Other information:

• Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Current licensure to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
• One year Respiratory Therapist Experience
