You’ll need
Certifications
✓Bachelor's in healthcare or other related field and 5 years’ healthcare related work experience, with CDIP or CCDS and CCS.
✓Master’s in healthcare or other related field and 3 years’ healthcare related work experience, with CDIP or CCDS and CCS.
✓Employees hired after April 30, 2025 CCDS or CDIP and CCS required.
Education
Master's degree in nursing administration, healthcare administration, or business preferred.
Qualifications
✓Juris Doctor (JD) with 7 years’ healthcare related experience
✓Demonstrates leadership skills/ability as well as project management skills.
✓Requires the ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects and activities in a changing environment.
✓Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
✓Relevant experience includes lead roles, project/committee leadership, and/or supervisor experience.
✓Computer experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
✓Previous experience with external accrediting bodies (e.g., NCQA, JCAHO) helpful.
✓Previous supervisory experience beneficial.
✓Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines helpful.
✓Understanding of managed care and commercial review experience helpful.
✓Experience in developing and implementing new products, services, or business lines helpful.
✓Understanding of Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, CMS IPPS, MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies, Risk-adjustment, AHA Coding Clinic is required.
