Licensure
✓Current clinical professional licensure appropriate to the individual's discipline.
Certifications
National certification in Healthcare Quality and prior healthcare quality experience preferred.
Education
✓Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Advanced Practice Nursing (APN), Physician Assistant (PA), or a related clinical or healthcare discipline.
Master's degree in a healthcare-related profession preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an acute care setting.
✓Knowledge of healthcare quality management, performance improvement, clinical outcomes, and patient safety principles.
✓Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including DMAIC, research methodology, statistical analysis, and quality reporting.
✓Knowledge of DNV and/or Joint Commission standards and guidelines.
✓Strong understanding of clinical care processes, outcomes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
✓Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
✓Ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present quality and performance data.
✓Ability to develop clear and effective reports and presentations for physicians, clinical staff, operations teams, committees, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
✓Ability to effectively facilitate meetings, lead interdisciplinary work groups, and coordinate quality improvement activities.
✓Strong oral and written communication skills.
✓Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
✓Ability to make clear and effective presentations involving quality information, statistics, performance improvement methodologies, and organizational outcomes.
✓Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence positive change in a complex healthcare environment.
✓Ability to plan, organize, and lead data collection and internal audit activities.
✓Ability to effectively supervise and coordinate work groups engaged in Quality Improvement activities.
✓Commitment to patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, continuous improvement, and High Reliability Organization principles.
