The Quality, Risk, and Patient Safety Administrator provides operational leadership for the organization's quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and clinical compliance functions across the system. Working under the direction of the Chief Quality Officer and Risk Manager, this position supports the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs that promote safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while reducing organizational and clinical risk.
The Administrator coordinates the organization’s quality management and patient safety initiatives, including performance improvement activities, adverse event and incident review, root cause analysis, risk identification and mitigation, patient safety reporting, and monitoring of clinical quality measures. The role works collaboratively with executive leadership, medical and clinical leaders, operations, compliance, and other departments to identify trends, implement corrective and preventive actions, and strengthen systems and processes that support safe and effective care.

Quality Coordinate and facilitate organization-wide quality improvement (QI) initiatives. Develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement plans. Monitor Key Performance Indicators and quality metrics.
Analyze clinical outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement. Facilitate performance improvement teams and projects. Support departments in achieving established quality goals.
Coordinate the documentation, tracking, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure timely completion and sustained improvement. Assist with the preparation of quality improvement reports, committee materials, and presentations to support organizational quality oversight. Patient Safety Coordinate and participate in the investigation and review of patient safety events, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams, documentation of findings, and development of action plans. .
Manage incident reporting systems and processes. Investigate patient safety events, near misses, and adverse events. Facilitate root cause analyses (RCAs).
Develop corrective action plans and monitor implementation. Promote evidence-based patient safety practices. Risk Partner with Risk Manager and other clinical leadership on event investigations and mitigation strategies.
Assist in identifying high-risk processes and recommend improvements. Monitor trends related to patient adverse events . Support the reduction of clinical and operational risks as directed by the Risk Manager.
Regulatory Readiness and Program Support Support organizational readiness for regulatory reviews, including but not limited to HRSA Operational Site Visits and Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) program requirements. Coordinate the collection, organization, and maintenance of quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety documentation necessary to demonstrate regulatory compliance and program effectiveness. Assist with the development, review, revision, and implementation of organizational policies and procedures in collaboration with appropriate clinical and operational leaders.
Monitor assigned regulatory readiness and program improvement activities, including tracking action items, identifying outstanding requirements, and facilitating timely completion. Support the coordination and documentation of quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety committee activities, including meeting preparation, action-item tracking, and follow-up. Degree in Nursing or other related healthcare field 2 to 5 years of experience clinical leadership, quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, or related healthcare program coordination preferred. Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience utilizing electronic health records, quality reporting platforms, incident reporting systems, or other healthcare information systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Frequent travel to all outpatient sites required.
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
