✓Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and must have and maintain current RN Licensure in the State of Rhode Island required or Bachelors degree in community/clinical nutrition and maintain registered dietitian status a current RD Licensure in the State of Rhode Island required
Certifications
✓Must have and maintain Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and/or Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator (CDOE).
Education
Master's Degree in related field preferred.
Qualifications
✓Additional training in diabetes mellitus required.
✓Must have five to seven years' experience in direct clinical care of patients.
✓Strong communication and inter-personal skills necessary as well as fluency in the English language.
