You'll operate complex equipment like linear accelerators and CT scanners to administer life-saving cancer treatments while building long-term, empathetic relationships with patients who see you daily for weeks. Greets patient utilizing AIDET, verifies patient in identification, reviews chart for proper radiation treatment parameters and physician prescriptions Informs patients and families about the treatment process and answers questions Prepares patients for treatment.
