Performs specific technical duties of a radiation therapist and provide assistance for the proper functioning of the department.

• Utilizes all electronic systems effectively and appropriately.
• Assists with clerical duties.
• Demonstrates the required technical knowledge to perform quality imaging for all diagnostic exams and procedures while providing quality patient care and safety.
• Performs quality imaging appropriate to patients of all ages and conditions.
• Assures appropriate patient identification is performed and indication and history for exam is documented.
• Ensures patient and family education is accomplished as appropriate and according to department policies.
• Ability to be at work and be on time
• Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives
• Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner
• Ability to prioritize and multitask *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. • 1-year acute care experience or equivalent Education/Licensure/Certification:
• Current California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RHA) or Therapeutic
• Radiologic Technology (RHT) required
• Current CRT license in the State of California (preferred)
• Current ARRT (RT) license, Radiation Therapy (required)
• Current fluoroscopy license in California (preferred)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card required
