You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency/Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) license to practice Radiation Therapy.
Certifications
✓Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (AART) certification required to practice Radiation Therapy.
✓Current CPR certification required to practice.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiation Therapy with a minimum Associate’s Degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of applying ionizing radiation for treatment of patients with cancer. Possesses appropriate knowledge of age specific criteria for dealing with adult and geriatric populations.
One year experience as a Radiation Therapist desired. preferred
