Therapists develop a close bond with each patient, starting during the orientation process for each patient’s experience, and through to completion of therapy. JOB SUMMARY A Radiation Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and treatment of patients needing radiation therapy. Therapists develop a close bond with each patient, starting during the orientation process for each patient’s experience, and through to completion of therapy. They ensure patient’s questions and concerns are addressed, and that therapy is optimized.
Work very closely with dosimetrist on all technical delivery of radiation, and act as an expert in the quality assurance and function of the equipment used to delivery radiation. Enjoys the flexibility a small team provides, and is willing to provide assistance in all areas of radiation oncology.
