You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current licensure as required by the State of New York and certification or board eligible in Radiation Therapy by the American Registry of Radiology Technology.
Certifications
✓Maintain ARRT certification in radiation therapy with a minimum of documented 12 hours of continuing education.
✓CPR certification required.
Qualifications
✓Satisfactory completion of a course in Radiation Therapy Technology.
✓Knowledge in principles, practices and procedures involved in the operation of ionizing radiographic and radiation therapy equipment.
✓Knowledge of the human anatomy and proper positioning of a patient to provide treatment as prescribed.
One (1) to three (3) years clinical experience in Radiation Therapy preferred.
