Radiographer (RAD Tech), Full Time, Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Full Time, 32 Hours; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am – 9:30p and Monday 3:00pm – 11:30pm Radiology Department Highlights: Variety of exams performed: Fluoroscopy, OR, Trauma Comprehensive Stroke Center Trauma Center Fast paced high acuity and volume facility around 150 exams a day Collaborative Radiologist Group Here’s What You Need Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required or Associate's Degree preferred 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam
• Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest
• Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations
• Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors
• Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
• Maintain attention to details
• Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed
• Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS
• Correctly send and transfer images to PACS
• Print laser images from modality or PACS
