The Radiologic Technologist Assistant in retail imaging within the clinic setting works under the direction of a qualified radiologic technologist and/or radiologist, performing tests and procedures, including radiologic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. They provide care and perform specific tasks and duties that assist in patient care management. These duties are delegated in relation to the degree of training and in accordance with the policies of Asante and respective to state laws governing such action and activities.
They assist with front office and medical records as necessary and assist in radiology procedures and performs related work as required. They will fill in as a tech aide when need arises and may also have other duties as directed by technical staff with regards to patient care and/or office duties.
