You’ll need
Licensure
✓must possess a current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License.
Certifications
✓Must have ARRT Registration and Certification
✓Current BLS required through American Heart Association.
✓Must maintain continuing education requirements as specified by the State of Oregon and ARRT Experience: Preferably experience in an acute care setting, and with direct patient care in a clinic setting.
Qualifications
✓Shall have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of general diagnostic radiography to include surgical, portable, and orthopedic studies.
✓Must have appropriate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Organizational and problem-solving skills.
✓Must be able to handle multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment as needed.
✓Must be able to handle fast-paced, stressful environment while juggling multiple priorities.
✓Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required.
✓Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance
✓Must be in generally good health with the ability to use mobile radiographic equipment as needed for patient care
✓must be able to transport patients as appropriate as well as assist in patient transfers and the lifting as needed.
✓Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting up to 50 pounds.
✓Work is fast-paced, and a changing environment.
✓Must have knowledge of medical terminology and possess verbal and clerical skills.
✓Works inside.
✓Walking and standing much of the time while on duty.
✓Occasional long shifts necessary.
