Certifications
✓Successful completion of an AMA-approved, accredited Radiologic Technology (ARRT) program.
✓Current American Heart Association BLS
✓May have up to 30 days to earn BLS after date of hire or transfer.
✓ARRT(R) certification
✓May have up to 1 year from date of hire or transfer to earn ARRT(R) certification.
✓Safety-Sensitive Position - This is a “Safety-Sensitive” Position as defined by Oklahoma law.
✓As such, please be advised that applicants for this position cannot test positive in pre-employment drug tests (or any drug tests administered after employment begins) for the presence of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive component of cannabis.
One year of clinic experience as a registered ARRT(R) preferred.

Qualifications
✓Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English.
✓Basic computer skills with information technology associated with the position including a familiarity with sending/receiving email, related software, and use of EHR information tools.
✓Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to emergent or urgent situations.
✓Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
✓Must be able to take call and respond within 30 minutes.
✓Skill with contrast media injections and reactions.
✓Ability to operate radiographic equipment safely and proficiently.
✓Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions.
✓Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations.
✓For those positions requiring travel, a current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance must be maintained.

The radiologic technologist is responsible for safely and proficiently producing images and performing related patient care for diagnostic use according to government regulations, physician/provider orders, policies and procedures of Imaging Services, and policies and procedures of the hospital.
