Different shifts available : 10 hour shifts with alternating weekends or 12 hour shifts Fri, Sat, Sun. Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards.
