The Level III Radiology Technologist is proficient in a range of tasks and skills allowing performance of multiple procedures beyond basic diagnostic x-ray. In addition to the Radiology Tech II responsibilities, these Level III Technologists are trained to work directly with physicians while running complex specialized equipment in sterile environments. This equipment includes: 3D C-Arm, O-Arm, Stealth Navigation.
This makes the Level III Technologist valuable team members who can proficiently perform a variety of complex procedures above and beyond a level II technologist What you will need: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure or “notice of IEMA compliance and authorization to perform medical radiation” At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school.).
Required within 2yrs of temporary license date.
