You’ll need
Licensure
✓Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) licensed through the Texas Medical Board and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
Certifications
✓Possession of CPR certification required
Certification in CT preferred but will cross-train
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
✓Knowledge of the current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
✓Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies; learn to use computerized radiologic equipment; learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
✓Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and staff.
✓Continuing education must be maintained at incumbent’s expense
One year of experience desirable preferred
Ability to speak in English and Spanish highly desirable preferred
