A Typical Day for a Radiologic Technologist May Include: Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Positioning patients and operating imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a positive patient experience. Adhering to radiation safety standards and quality control procedures. Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any operational concerns.
Documenting imaging procedures accurately within the electronic medical record. Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
