✓Recently graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and waiting on state licensure?
✓At C hristianaCare -GoHealth Urgent Care , we are committed to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals through our Radiologic Technologist , New Grad Bridge Program . This unique opportunity is designed for recent graduates who have completed their RT program and are awaiting full
✓Developing skills in a Medical Assistant capacity while completing licensure requirements
✓Once your state licensure is validated , you'll be eligible to transition into a Radiologic Technologist position , complete with:
✓Team Members hired into the RT New Grad Bridge program will be in a short-term transitional position designed for recent graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program who are awaiting state licensure and/or registration.
✓T hey will be hired into a Medical Assistant position to start, working alongside licensed Radiologic Technologists, and will support patient care operations and develop familiarity with radiology workflows and clinical processes to prepare them for independent practice upon licensure , as permitted
✓Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required within 90 days of start date .
✓State licensure and ARRT must be obtained prior to written offer with Sign On Bonus provided.
Certifications
✓CPOE must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire if Medical Assistant Certification is not obtained upon hire or if the candidate does not have an active Medical Assistant Certification.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
✓American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required within 90 days of start date .
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
✓High School Diploma or equivalent required
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols.
✓Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement.
✓Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
✓Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✓Strong organizational and planning skills
✓Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
