Description

Ensures that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. Customers served include UHS employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

NightRegular Scheduled Weekly Hours:36Compensation Range:$26.13 - $40.53 per hour, depending on experience-----Sign-on Incentive:Candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.36 hours/week, FT, Night Rotation (12 hour shifts)

Drives the commitment for exceptional patient experiencePerforms routine diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room exams, as requested by referring physiciansCompletes and documents all required imaging and procedural information accurately on requisitionsCommunicates effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary departments, and patients to ensure coordinated, high-quality careAdheres to radiation safety protocols and ensures compliance with ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principlesDemonstrates proficiency in using UHS information systems for imaging workflow and patient documentationProvides clear patient education related to imaging procedures, ensuring patient understanding and comfortMaintains accurate and thorough documentation to support high standards of patient care and regulatory complianceEducation/ExperienceMinimum Required:Associates Degree in Radiologic TechnologyPreferred:Not ApplicableLicense/CertificationMinimum Required:New York State License as Radiologic TechnologistARRT RegistrationPreferred:CPR certification within the first three months of hire.-----Why You’ll Love Working at UHSAt United Health Services (UHS), we believe every connection—to patients, to purpose, to each other—makes a difference.
