Licensure
✓Candidates must have a current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) temporary license for student hires and permanent license for registered hires.
Certifications
✓Student candidates must obtain the RT(R)(ARRT) certification within 6 months of their hire date.
✓Must have a valid OHSU approved Basic Life Support CPR card.
Education
✓Must be within 4 months of graduation from approved program.
Qualifications
✓Current student from approved Radiologic Technology Program.
✓Must have completed student competencies under the approved program.
✓Must have demonstrated skills in the following areas:
✓Performing diagnostic imaging studies, Radiation safety, Effective use of equipment, Record maintenance, Infection control, Quality control, Compliance, Patient Communication, Contrast media, problem solving, judgment, teamwork and taking initiative.
✓Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
OHSU-partnered Radiologic Technology program experience. preferred
Level 1 Trauma Center experience; Academic Medical Center experience. preferred
Additional Details preferred
Flex trainee position preferred
assignment no longer than 12 months. preferred
No guarantee of hours or schedule. preferred
This position works in a busy environment with frequent interruptions, multiple demands and continuous interaction with patients and other medical professionals. preferred
