Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our River Falls Clinic! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following

Week 1Friday: 7:30AM - 5PMSaturday: 9AM - 5PMSunday: 9AM - 5PM Week 2Monday: 7:30AM - 6PMSaturday: 9AM - 5PMSunday: 9AM - 5PM This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Specialty Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in multiple ambulatory settings and locations. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for patients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

The specialty radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray performed the ambulatory setting. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases as well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an ambulatory care environment. ResponsibilitiesMaintains patient care standardsAccurately performs diagnostic exams and proceduresIdentifies relevant data from images accurately.

Communicates pertinent data clearly to appropriate health care professionalsParticipates in creating a culture of patient safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of serviceCompletes quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.

Ensures patient data integrityAccurately maintains and updates patient records including; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely mannerPerforms accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archivingParticipates as an active team memberOrients and mentors new employees and studentsParticipates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiativesResponsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for positionRequired QualificationsARRT Certification/RegistrationBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon HirePreferred QualificationsB.

S./B.
