As a Radiology Care Coordination Specialist at MercyOne, you will ensures the coordination of the next level of service/care/needs for patients within Imaging services, act as a resource to patient, family or physician calling for assistance, and works collaboratively with imaging modalities to ensure efficient coordination of patient schedules.
40 hours a week Day shift
High school diploma. At least one year of post-high school medical education. Associate degree preferred.
At least one (1) year of clinical oncology health care or hospital-based experience. Demonstrated interpersonal skills in order to interact and communicate with patients and medical staff. Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
Ability to function autonomously, self-directed with a high level of judgment and decision-making. Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to develop and manage multiple monitoring systems. Demonstrated proficiency in computer databases and software to include Excel, Word.
Prefer prior Epic experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve with internal and external customers and systems. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative environment.
