This position will represent U of L Hospital at various job fairs, career days etc. to assist with staff recruitment. The Radiology Clinical Instructor/Lead Tech abides by and ensures compliance with various regulatory and accrediting bodies including JCAHO and JRCERT. The Radiology Clinical Instructor/Lead Tech will be responsible for direct supervision of patient and staff workflow.

Prepares and monitors student clinical rotation schedules and room assignmentsConducts and coordinates student and new employee orientation to the Radiology department. Completes clinical performance evaluations for Rad Tech students. Evaluation of student performance.

Ensures required clinical competencies are provided and completed. Provides continuing education opportunities to staff technologists regularlyDisplays a positive image of the department and hospitalAchieves excellence through teamwork by enhancing communications with employees, inspiring them to live the values, share the vision and goals of University Hospital. Ensures that the department operates within all hospital guidelines, policies and procedures.
