You’ll need
Licensure
✓WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Certifications
✓The Multi-Modality Technologist 1 will be competent and credentialed initially in Radiography with the credential in CT obtained within one year of hire.
✓ARRT registered in Radiography required
✓the CT credential is required within two years of hire
✓IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
✓BLS/CPR required within 90 days of hire
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited radiography program
Qualifications
✓Two to four years of experience as a technologist as a Radiographer is required. Experience in a hospital environment preferred
✓Experience in working with radiologic technologists, radiologists and support staff in a multimodality department
✓Proficiency in mentoring employees and providing corrective action appropriately
✓Experience in obtaining departmental accreditation
✓Ability to communicate in a friendly and effective manner
✓Demonstrated ability to foster excellent teamwork in a radiology department
✓Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
✓Read/comprehend written and verbal instructions
✓Basic PC skills
✓Manage stress appropriately
✓Make decisions under pressure and handle multiple priorities
✓Manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately
