About the role

During morning report, the RPA will evaluate the day’s schedule of procedures with the supervising physician and other imaging staff to determine where his/her skills will be best utilized.

Evaluate medical images, reviewEvaluate medical images, review preliminary reports and images with a supervising physician, and prepare technical reports that will be reviewed and signed off by the supervising physician
Assess and evaluate theAssess and evaluate the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient
Participate in patient managementParticipate in patient management, following review with the supervising physician
The RPA, after demonstratingThe RPA, after demonstrating competency and under the guidance, supervision* and discretion of the supervising physician, will perform the following list of procedures
