What you’ll do
The Radiologic Technologist isThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level
Identify each patient priorIdentify each patient prior to the exam, utilizing two patient identifiers according to hospital policy
Gain patient cooperation byGain patient cooperation by reducing anxiety, providing explanations of treatment, and answering questions
Perform portable X-ray examinationsPerform portable X-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and the emergency room
Provide a lead protectiveProvide a lead protective shield for patients, reducing radiation exposure as low as reasonably achievable
