Position Details Full Time Night Shift 11pm-7:30am Day shift training to start Location: Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, OH A Brief Overview Provides support and assistance to the Radiologic Technologist in caring for patients and family members during the imaging process, completing clerical/computer duties, lifting/transporting of patients, and following hospital and departmental policies, protocols, and SOPs (including Radiation and MRI safety).
Assist the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction. Communication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care. Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients.
Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system. Ensure the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item. Follow hospital initiative in order to meet patient satisfaction goals.

Education High School Equivalent / GED High School diploma (Required) Work Experience less than 1 year customer service experience (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Basic patient care skills (Required proficiency) Able to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse population across mutli-generations.
