✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current Ohio Radiologic License (in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 4773.03).
Certifications
✓Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Education
✓Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (associate degree or equivalent required by state law).
✓Clinical experience obtained through completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
✓Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment
✓Understanding of radiation safety and protection protocols
✓Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team
✓Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
✓Attention to detail
✓Ability to follow instructions and protocols
✓Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
✓Employee has basic knowledge of radiation safety
✓Employee demonstrates understanding of the usage of equipment
✓Employee demonstrates proper patient identification
✓Employee demonstrates consistent hand hygiene practices
