Radiology Technologist, AAMC, Resource Pool

The Radiologic Technologist, through knowledge and professional training, administers Roentgen rays to patients, ranging from newborn to geriatric age groups, recognizing the individual needs as it relates to imaging procedures and methodologies employed to obtain diagnostic images. Operates xray equipment, prepares patients for x-ray explains procedures, positions patient and assists patient at the end of procedures.

Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
