You’ll need
Certifications
✓Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
✓Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Education
✓Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Qualifications
✓Retains an active Radiography accreditation with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety
✓Must live within 30 mile radius due to on call requirement
✓Must have intimate and thorough knowledge of sophisticated equipment involved in Interventional Radiology
✓Shift: Days- 8-hour shift (7am-3:30 pm) with on-call requirement
Should be aggressive, with ability to work under pressure; to react quickly and accurately to problem situations preferred

About the role
Under the supervision of the Chief Technologist – Interventional Radiology performs all of the duties of the radiologic technologist and in addition assists the radiologist in the preparation for and performance of specialized procedures requiring advanced on the job training for both inpatients and outpatients of all ages
