Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures. In this role: You will provide health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
You will perform radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedure.
Provide services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. You will remain calm in crisis and emergency situations, and direct staff members effectively and appropriately. You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team.
