This position performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision in more than one (1) modality, OR, two (2) specialties within the same modality. This position will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level. Experience in Breast Ultrasound preferred.

General

Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.

Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public. Must have working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.

Qualifications High School Graduate or equivilent required. Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required. One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultra Sound Technologist preferred Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.

Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Please allow two to three business days for the manager to review your application.
