Licensure
✓State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed) If the job is performed in Virginia, State Licensure is required.
Certifications
✓Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
✓BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferred)
Qualifications
✓Medical Terminology and the ability to use standard office equipment, required
✓Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
✓Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to
