Responsibilities Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Directs in coming telephone calls through the switchboard. Assists and directs visitors and patients in the lobby. Maintains pleasant and courteous manner in the lobby.

High School Graduate. Business degree preferred
Prior experience as receptionist or telephone operator preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Knowledge of switchboard, computer skills including MS Office SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Communications Coordinator GENERAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT: General interaction with the public in the lobby area and continuous telephone operation. Some risk involved in the event of the presence of an aggressive patient.
